1hr Report – SIERDC Ruapuna 1️⃣
We return to The South with our pair of MRs for a second year, and in 2023 the competition has certainly lifted its game.
Admittedly, we were caught off guard by this and on the back foot for most of the weekend, but like any good and unified team we relish the challenge to improve and are working hard on turning up for Round 2 in Invercargill with a stronger performance from both the #909 and the #910.
Mana recovered from being turned around early to finish in 7th, while the result for Francois was P16 after a couple of incidents throughout the race.
3hr Report – SIERDC Ruapuna 3️⃣
The Chancellor Aedifice Porsche GT3R had a trouble-free NZ debut on the track, leading the race in the early stages. We crossed the line in 8th position at the flag.
During this data gathering exercises, we were able to complete ‘long runs’ in the car for the first time, learning about its characteristics over the life of a tyre and fuel load. During this exercise, our Prime Speed Sport crew performed flawlessly.
We have identified some key areas to work on ahead of Round 2 at Invercargill’s Teretonga circuit next weekend — a circuit that all three of our drivers thoroughly enjoy!
